What do you think regarding the fracas at the Academy?

I’m sure, like me, you’ve woken up to this story today (Monday)

Was Will Smith out of order?  

Was it a joke or was Chris Rock out of order and deserved it?  

Was it a carefully rehearsed publicity stunt which went wrong / very well?

Normally I wouldn't ask these types of questions, but comedy divides and I am curious to hear / read what you all think.

The pursuit of slappyness? 😙
